Viterbo immediately welcomes its visitors with the high crenellated walls, medieval towers, beautiful stairs, old shops and massive palaces. The first deep impression is underlined by the true simplicity of the Romanic churches and the pure quietness of the convents. During the walk through the center, you will find the Piazza della Morte, the old majestic square and then Palazzo Farnese. Just a few meters away, on an imposing square, rises the elegant Papal Palace, where the Popes used to live in the 13th century. Next to it, the Renaissance cathedral and then the medieval quarter of San Pellegrino, a labyrinth of lanes with small antiques shops and wonderful flower decorations on the balconies.

Half-day – Duration from Approx. 3 hrs.
