Day 1 Corciano: Arrival in Umbria. This region lies in the centre of the Italian peninsula, surrounded by Latium, Tuscany and Marches. It has always been a crossing point for people, ideas and cultures. Accommodation for 4 nights, half pension, in Corciano.
Day 2 Lake Trasimeno, Corciano: After breakfast, departure for a boat trip from Passignano sul Trasimeno. Lake Trasimeno is Italy’s fourth largest lake. Return trip to Castiglione del Lago, where a pleasant Cappuccino break is planned. The medieval town of Corciano will be visited in the afternoon. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 3 Orvieto, Magione: After breakfast, excursion to Orvieto. The old Etruscan town lies on a volcanic rock. Tour through the city with its cathedral, Palazzo del Popolo, Palazzo Soliano, the San Patrizio well. Continue on to Magione for an enjoyable wine tasting with a small snack. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 4 Todi, Montefalco, Torgiano: After breakfast, excursion to Todi. Tour through the beautiful old town with its narrow lanes, churches and magnificent palaces. The cathedral is of particular interest. Continue on to Montefalco with its late medieval wall. Your next destination is Trevi, which is dominated by two imposing monastery buildings. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 5 After breakfast, start of the return trip home.
