Day 1 Group arrives at hotel in Pesaro for 2 nights, half-board.

Day 2 Breakfast and transfer to Urbino, one of the more important cities of the Italian Renaissance. Proceed on to Mondavio for a tour of this Renaissance town, famous for its Rocca Roveresca (a Renaissance-era fortress). Then a brief stop in Fratterosa, a small village famous for its earthenware, where you will visit an artisan workshop. Afterwards, a visit to a wine cellar to sample the locally made sweet wine and biscuits called “favette of Fratterosa” (Fratterosa’s little beans).

Day 3 Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Cagli, a town filled with historical palaces and known for its splendid Torrione (tower). Proceed on to Acqualagna for lunch on your own. In the afternoon, a walk through the woods to look for precious Marche truffle. On the way back, a brief stop in Valle del Metauro, the Gola del Furlo, and a walk along the ancient Flaminian way. Transfer to a hotel in the Senigallia-Ancona area for 2 nights, half-board.

Day 4 Jesi, Serra San Quirico, and Offagna one of Italy’s most beautiful villages. Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Jesi, a very old city with a beautiful historic centre. Continue on to Serra San Quirico, also known as the stone city; have a snack in an old tavern here. The day concludes with Offagna, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and a splendid example of military architecture with its medieval Rocca (fortress).

Day 5 Breakfast at the hotel and return home.
