The Dozza Castle was built in 1250 and it is still extremely well preserved, so as it is the little village surrounded by the castle’s walls. The centre is still untouched and gives the possibility to see how a village was in the middle age: it is a real leap in the past. A special event, held every second year, is the “Biennale del Muro Dipinto“: different artists paint the walls of the houses with all the strangest scenes they can think of. In the cellar of the castle it is located the “Enoteca Regionale dell´Emilia Romagna” where it is possible to taste all the different regional wines.
