Monte Pellegrino und Mondello

Mount Pellegrino, which closes the west of the Gulf of Palermo, has been called “the most beautiful headland of the world” by Goethe. On the mountain, reachable by a picturesque road with beautiful views over Palermo, there is a pilgrimage church devoted to St. Rosalia. We continue our tour to Mondello, a health resort in a scenic bight with lively alleys full of boutiques, cafe’s and ice-cream parlours, where you can enjoy the famous sicilian ice cream specialties.
