Etna and Taormina

Mount Etna is 3340m high and provides wonderful and fascinating view at all times, particularly in winter with its snow capped crater. We hike on a picturesque trail up to 2000m height. The volcano is still active, hence you will need to be a little careful and keep distant from the crater and the dangerous slopes also depending from the volcano ‘ s conditions. As well as hosting spectacular remains from the ancient times, Taormina boasts narrow picturesque streets, steep gardens full of tropical trees, elegant boutique and craft shops and offers a breathtaking view of the coastline between Naxos and Catania dominated by Mount Etna.
