Dorgali and the Monk Seal Caves

Dorgali sits on the slopes of Mount Bardia. Having a strong agriculture and breeding tradition Dorgali is well known for its excellent wines and cheeses. You must not leave the area without travelling along the glorious coast with holm oak woods up to Cala Gonone.
Cala Gonone sits on the slopes of Mount Codula Manna is surrounded by calcareous hills covered with beautiful woods. The port is a starting point for several boat excursions along the coast. From here you can enjoy a boat tour to the Monk Seal Caves and to the most beautiful bay of the Mediterranean sea: the Moon Bay (Cala Luna)! Beautiful oleander woods surround a wonderful beach with emerald green waters, high cliffs and natural grottos.
