Don Camillo and Peppone

Going on a journey through Emilia, people can not forget two of the most beloved and well known emilian characters in all Europe: Don Camillo and Peppone. The little town of Brescello was scenery of the famous movie “The little world of Don Camillo” from the novel of Giovanni Guareschi. To remember those fantastic characters you will find a museum where important objects and curiosities about the film are shown, such as the panzer used in one of the most famous scene. The cross that was the companion to Don Camillo during all the movies, can be seen in the church of Santa Maria Maggiore.
