Rising sheer from the sea, the coast is divided into small terraces covered in growing plants and featuring deep hollows formed by erosion which surround sandy beaches. Along the Amalfi Coast, immersed in a colourful setting between the green rolling hills and the blue sea and sky, local masters competed against each other to create architectural masterpieces matching this spectacular landscape.
